CORPORATE & ORGANIZATIONAL EVENTS
These
events can vary from ultra formal to casual depending on the theme and
location. Take Two DJs offers a
professional and fun atmosphere that appeals to all guests at the event.
CLASS & FAMILY REUNIONS
For
class reunions, Take Two DJs can customize the music selections to cover a
particular year or decade relative to the class’ graduation year. Announcements can be handled by the DJ and/or
class officers and representatives as needed.
Family
reunions are generally less formal than class reunions but sometimes follow a
theme. Again, Take Two DJs offers a wide
music selection to appeal to all ages.
One
comment on reunions… don’t be concerned if the guests
aren’t dancing. Reunions are a social
event and most people want to talk instead of dance.
SCHOOL & COLLEGE EVENTS
For
formal dances such as homecoming, sweetheart and prom, Take Two DJs takes
requests and provides an even mix of fast and slow songs that are
appropriate. Events such as coronation
usually held in the last hour of the dance are announced over your choice of
background or theme music.
THEME, HOLIDAY & BIRTHDAY PARTIES
These
events vary greatly based on the theme.
Take Two DJs offers a wide variety of holiday and theme specific music
in the music library. Please inquire
about music selections that are applicable to your party theme.
FUND RAISING EVENTS
Fund
raising events can include several types of activities such as auctions,
presentations, drawings for attendance prizes and so on. Take Two DJs works with the coordinator to
ensure that all events are announced properly and in a timely fashion while
including the proper mix of music.
OTHER ITEMS TO CONSIDER WHEN PLANNING EVENTS
GUEST REQUESTS
Do you
want the DJ to accept song requests from your guests? Take Two DJs policy on requests is that we
take requests within reason. For
example, if someone requests a song such as Stairway To Heaven by Led Zepplin at a wedding reception, the DJ would choose not to
play it as it would not be appropriate for the guests to dance to… unless the
bride or groom indicate that is a favorite song.
MUSIC SELECTION & GENRES
The
customer has the right to choose or limit songs and genres. Take Two DJs respects its customers and
guests and therefore offers radio friendly edited versions of songs that
contain profanity.
